***This is one of the cleanest, nicest parks we have seen. The hosts live on site, and are very friendly and helpful. The place is extremely clean and even the gravel drives are manicured. They have worked really hard and it shows. The buildings are all very clean and kept in good condition. It is half an hour from Huntsville, and located in the mountain area of US 72. Roads are four lanes divided which provide easy access. It has a pool, playground, miniature golf and more for family entertainment.
***A very nice campground. A touch tight for a big rig, but everything was so neat, clean, and landscaped. Many amenities. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would most definitely return.
***This may be one of the top parks that Passport has to offer. Very easy to find, sites level, nice pool and other amenities. If you want to explore Northern Alabama, then this is a good spot. Also, the owners are very helpful and pleasant. The grounds are immaculate and they are working for your business. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone in any size rig. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
***We LOVED this campground. The hosts are awesome - so helpful to us being we are really new at camping. The sites are clean, level, and have gravel. The Sunday breakfast was fabulous as was the cookout that night with fireworks. The rest of the facilities even though we didn't use the pool or putt-putt course are very nice and clean. It's close to Unclaimed Baggage, Cathedral Caverns, and Buck's Pocket (a state park). We also drove the short distance to the Walls of Jerico and hiked the 7 mile round trip. If you're in the area they are the place to stay - way to go Kevin, Dawn & Will!!!
***This small family run RV park is clean, comfortable and one of the best kept secrets in North Alabama. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The park has a small convenience store that features reasonable prices. The bath house is relatively new and very well kept. The small on site laundromat was more than adequate for our needs. I was impressed with the small air conditioned cabins on site. They are very well done. There are three restaurants about three miles south of the park in the small community of Woodville, Al. One is a pretty good pizza joint and one serves up excellent catfish. Twelve miles to the north of the park is Scottsboro, AL. Scottsboro has all of the usual fast food joints, Mexican restaurants, a Ruby Tuesday's and a gazillion other eating places. There is fishing nearby as well as Russell Cave National Monument, Cathedral Caverns State Park, a National Wildlife Refuge, extensive horse back riding trails in the vacinity of the Walls of Jerico, and a canoe and kayak outfitter that offers a variety of canoe trips on picturesque local waterways. Last but not there is a great Single Action Shooting Society affiliated group known as the North Alabama Regulators close to the campground. Their events are open to the public and they would love to have you visit. If you are a SASS member bring your gear and participate.
***My family and I spent this past 4th of July here. It was wonderful. The Owners (Kevin & Dawn) are the best! They are so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere there is amazing. You'll never meet a stranger here! That just goes to show how much Kevin, Dawn, (and their son Will) pour their hearts into this campground. This is the cleanest campground we've ever visited. The bath houses are extremely clean, and safe. Each one has a lock on the door, so you have your privacy. Sunday breakfast was great. There is no doubt that they are family oriented. Kevin and Dawn both made this statement: "If you can't say it in front of a child, then you don't need to say it." The putt putt course is really great, as is the salt water pool. They've really poured their hearts into this place, and it shows. Oh yeah, if you lock yourself out of your camper (like we did) Kevin's a locksmith!!! We called him, he came over (smiling as always), and picked the lock for us...at no charge. They are really wonderful folks. You will not regret staying here. And YES, we will be back. Happy camping everyone!!!
***Clean, well kept, and friendly owners at this park. I would definitely stay again. No negatives as far as I am concerned. Rate is Passport America. We camped here in a Motorhome.
*** Amazing value for an excellent well-kept campground. Very helpful staff, we rented a satellite box for 2$, great to have a dish on the site to connect to. The pool was lovely, and they also have a fitness room. The bathrooms were really good. We stayed two nights and visited the Space Center at Huntsville. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
***We have stayed here for one night stops, for over 5 years. We found this camp to be friendly and a well affordable camping option. The staff team is very friendly and informative. The bathrooms were also in excellent condition and appeared to be less than a couple of years old. NOTE: The new baths are complete private bathrooms. Something you would expect at an RV Resort, not a small, family-owned campground. The same for the large salt water swimming pool. In the past 2 years they have turned a number of back in sites to pull through sites by adding a second road. The club house (different from the Rec Room) is available for individuals or rallies. It has a full kitchen, wood heat, but no A/C. Some sites have DirecTV dishes mounted so you just have to hook it up to your RV and you are ready to go. They also have some DirecTV boxes for rent. There are enough attractions in this area to stay several days, such as Natural Caverns State Park, Unclaimed Freight Salvage at Scottsboro, plus others that people have mentioned in other reviews. You are also not that far from the Space Center at Huntsville. We camped here in a Motorhome.

***Our week stay at Parnell Creek Camp was most delightful. The owners, Kevin, Dawn, and son Will, are some of the friendliest and hardest working people I've ever had the pleasure to meet. We enjoyed our air conditioned cabin, the clean bathrooms, the refreshing saltwater swimming pool, the wonderful breakfast on Sunday morning, and the playground for the children. The location was near to Huntsville, so we were able to visit several places of interest. We will go back when the opportunity arises. We camped here in a Campground Cabin.
***We dropped in by accident and were very pleased with everything! Very well maintained campground with lot's of possibilities also for children to spend your time. You'll find everything you'll need, and if not, the really nice people that own the place will try to make it happen. Unfortunately we missed the big breakfast on Sundays.
***This was the best campground that we have ever stayed at! Kevin and Dawn were very helpful and very friendly. They had activities every night for the campers to participate in if they choose to. Kevin and Dawn also joined in as well. Kevin and Dawn also prepared a full breakfast on Sunday morning for the campers! The salt water pool was clean, and the mini golf was a lot of fun! There is so much to do here that you would never have to leave the campground to find something to do. We had planned on staying only two nights and ended up staying four! We will definitely camp here again, and again!
***We spent four nights at this facility and really enjoyed it. The relatively new owners (Kevin, Dawn, & Will) are making major improvements. These folks are very friendly and I highly recommend this park. We will return.
***The park was very nice, but we were very impressed with the owners who were always on site. We had a couple of issues - dead battery on towed vehicle and a hard drive computer problem. They were very helpful in both cases - even letting us utilize their personal computer. Can't say enough about their helpfulness.
*** The Park is extremely clean. The new owners are very friendly and helpful. They came by each morning as we we eating breakfast at our outside table to see if we needed anything. The sites are level and large enough for big rigs. This was our first time in the area and we will definitely come back again.
*** Kevin, Dawn & Will Roberts were very friendly and helpful. They are doing many improvements, the place is looking great and very clean. If we are ever in the area, we will return.
*** We stayed here a week and have already decided to return next year for another week. The sites are decent size, level gravel sites, just about all of the water hookups are new as are most of the electrical, tested at 118 volts. The new owners are extremely friendly and helpful and are working very hard to make this a great family park. It is a great location for doing things in Huntsville, Scottsboro or visiting the Cathedral Caverns.
